Poppa and Auntie

Poppa Erwin and Auntie Trisha came to visit this weekend! It was so great to spend time with them. It's been too long! Xman sure loved all the attention. 

I grabbed a few more pics off Trisha's Facebook page to share as well. He sure does love his auntie!

For those who aren't friends with either of us on Facebook (or any grandparent as they have all shared the video) X is pretty officially walking now! He's not solid yet and has only gone, at most, eight steps at a time but he is getting there fast! He practices like 40 times a day. Kiddo is determined to walk!!!

X also recently discovered a new favorite place- the Tupperware cupboard. 

Out to lunch with Tina. Xander preferred to eat the table.

Finally warm enough to take a walk to the park. First time in a swing (not counting Kalahari). I'd say he liked it!

Birthday party and bathroom sink

At Tito's birthday party. Wish I would have gotten a pic with the bday boy but he was in high demand!

He's going to stand up and walk any time now. 

His new thing is this guttural cough-type sound from the back of his throat. This is the face he makes while making that noise. 

He figured out the faucet the other day.

He's been sleeping better than last week which has been great for all. Still not 100% but we will take what we can get. We think those canines might FINALLY be working their way down. They've been playing at breaking through for ages.

10 Months

Xander has now officially been out of the womb longer than he was in. Wahoo!!!

Toothbrush and Guitar

Not much new to report on the Xander front. Sleep is still pretty awful. Please let this no-sleep/separation anxiety phase pass quickly... Momma is not 22 anymore and needs at least four hours in a row to be functional. This waking every 45-75 minutes thing (all night long) is making our house go batty. Blargh!

His toothbrush was his favorite chew toy the other day. Hooray for dental health! (Man alive, I am a dork.)

I think we might have a musician! He LOVES the guitar. He sits and plucks at it. Pretty cool really. :)

Except maybe this one. He's getting his balance, a few seconds at a time. It makes him overjoyed when he manages it. Watch out world!
