Gearing up

We are in full-on gear up mode around here this week. Thanksgiving means about 20 people coming to our house for food and festivities on Thursday. I'm trying to box up some of X's old toys that are strewn everywhere. He has so many toys that I think we could seriously open our own toy store. Unfortunately, we've also had a stupid cold making its way through our house this week which is slowing our progress. Poor X is so stuffy he can't breathe and his nose is raw from all the wiping. He's still pretty happy though. We could all learn something from that I think!

Looking outside in.

Hanging with Dite.

At the Stevens Point Children's Museum.

Teddy and X hanging out during the Backpacks for Teens charity event put on by the amazing Walden family.

I have an...
APPLE!

Quite possibly the sweetest pic ever taken of Tim and X.

I'm not sure we can avoid him becoming a drummer.

Sunrise light.

Isis thinks he's silly for wearing my shoes.

You can't really tell in the pics but he's driving cars on his chest, under his shirt.

Cartoon focus.

Hugging Dite.

Playing with Roger and Petra.
Soon drawing on the cardboard wasn't enough and he turned to drawing on himself.

How adorable is Roger?!?

Mommy selfie.

Hanging out at uncle Aron's for the game.

Aron took this pic on his phone. Not sure what kind of filter he used but it's awesome!

Fancy Camera

I have been playing with FLG's camera recently trying to figure it out. We have a really nice Nikon that no one in the office really knows how to use well, as none of us are photographers. I am trying to change that. Here are a bunch of pics that I have been testing the camera with. They span about a month's time and I swear you can see X grow from the beginning to the end of the series.

At Grandmama's new house!

Playing in the leaves with Lizzie.

Getting cheeky in the bath.

Reading with daddy.

Standing in chair (strictly forbidden) but look at how happy he is!

Daylight shots.

Goofball.

Warner Park in the fall.

On Halloween- no costume this year, just a fun glow-in-the-dark shirt.

Ok- that's all of them! I'll post more occasional Nikon photo-dumps as time goes on. :)
