January Retrospective

Is January almost over already?!? Where is the time going?

This morning X managed to climb out of his crib. I foresee some sleepless nights coming up as we transition to a toddler bed.

He's eating like a horse this week so we figure another growth spurt is in progress. Plus, his two-year molars look to be making an appearance. Wahoo!

Xander is continuing to develop his language skills and can pretty much mimic anything we are saying. Most of the time he understands us and will follow commands too. Except when he's being defiant which is 50% of the time these days. Yes, the terrible twos have officially begun in our house. Oy.

Also, I've figured out how to connect my new camera to my phone (it's wifi enabled) so my posts are likely to be mixed now with "nice" pics and iPhone camera shots together. Oh, the humanity! Speaking of pictures...

Looking for the garbage truck.

Errands.

He did this all on his own without prompting from me.

At Grandma SuAnn's house for Xmas. New toy guitar! She also gave him a Thomas book with 12 small hard rubber versions of the main Thomas cast. He's completely obsessed with them (still!).

In mommy's new hat.

Bath time.

Kid loves his stickers.

Kid also loves his puzzles. He can almost complete the wood hat puzzle by himself (except for the tricky piece).

He's also really into stacking and placing things in lines.

X loves Dite-dog.

And trains. Forever trains.

Hammy in the highchair.

Taken in the car while viewing a sunset.

Last week we went to Olbrich Gardens. We were too late to visit the inside area but took a nice walk outside.

No X no- don't eat Henry!

Went for a "walk" to Grandmama Sandi's house. It was less walk and more rambling playtime.

When we got there, we took his hat off his hair was super kinked and curly. He almost looks like a different kid!

More hamming.

At Molly and Dustin's for a Packer game. X and Adam hung out.

Trying out the helmet.

Hotdog stogie.

X got his very first haircut a few weeks ago. Maggie was awesome!

In his race car bed at Grandmama Sandi's.

If you can't go to the playground, bring one inside! Putting the slide inside during the winter was a stroke of brilliance. *pats own back* (until he crashes into something, then I'll be cursing myself)

Lounging.

More pics in the car.

With his new chair from Papa.

This is how he sits in his highchair.

Such a ham!!!

Oh, and these.

Momma and son.
