NOLA Day 2

We started the day in our room with this hilarious prop dangling from the bedpost. 

After an excellent po boy lunch we went to the park to help a friend of Jessie's run her dog.  

Shopping at Kawaii NOLA, a really cute manga shop on Magazine, that was having its grand opening.  We got Hello Kitty ears for donating to ARNO. 

It was all too much for the nerdspawn.

After a lovely dinner of red beans and rice, a little love fest with Jessie...

NOLA Day 1: First Airplane Ride

Today Xander got to experience air travel for the first time. He slept most of the way which was great for us (and the rest of the passengers).  Tomorrow we get to explore New Orleans with Jessie!

3 Months!!!

I can't believe our little man is already 3 months old. It's been amazing seeing how far he has come. He has been pushing his head and shoulders up during tummy time (even though he hates every second of it).  He's also nearly rolling over. He gets to his side but never quite makes it to his tummy. Perhaps because he doesn't want to. :P  But the biggest thing so far is his huge smile especially when accompanied by a giggle!!! The pics just don't do it justice. Here's a few from our little photo session this morning.

He's been going through another growth spurt combined with a developmental leap so he's been hungrier and fussier than normal. He has been sleeping less as well which has been tough on us. We think he might also be starting to teethe so it's a triple whammy this week. Tired parents. But happy. :)

New Discoveries

Today Xander really "discovered" his toys. Up until now he never spent much time looking at them, he was much more focused on us. He also started batting at them with his hands a bit. That was really cool!

Lack of updates

We haven't been doing a great job if keeping this updated. So, even if there's not a big update, I'm going to try to share more pictures. Anjee tries to send me one a day, so I'll try to share them here as well. Here are some recent ones.
