First Camping Trip

This weekend marked Xander's first camping trip (and ours with a baby). All things considered, it went pretty well. We camped at Lake Kegonsa, a park I used to frequent a lot in my single days but haven't camped at since Tim and I have been together. It was nice to be so close to home for a change- which came in handy on a few occasions. Jim, Trisha and James scored the site right next to us and the boys got to hang out all weekend. I think that affected X in some really great ways considering James is almost two. X was saying a bunch of words by the end of the trip. It was really, really cool. Uncle Aron and Auntie Vicki came up in Sunday night and camped on our site. So good to hang with them!

X had a very hard time going to sleep since it was so bright out at his normal bedtime. No blackout curtains in a tent! So, bedtime kind of looked like this.
